Rose Reisman is the national spokesperson for Breakfast for Learning. Working to ensure every child in Canada attends school well-nourished and ready to learn, Breakfast for Learning helps support and sustain school-based child nutrition programs through grants, ongoing support, and child nutrition resources and research. In 2008-2009, Breakfast for Learning provided funding to over 5,000 programs, providing healthy meals and snacks to over 222,000 children and youth.

In 2008, Rose collaborated with the Kruger Ltd. Sponge Towels product line in a joint fundraising venture for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. She is also a key speaker and supporter for the annual CIBC Run for the Cure. As a health expert who’s passionate about building awareness for breast cancer, Rose was the perfect person to spread the message at the 2008 Think Pink launch. Including proceeds from her successful cookbooks, Rose has donated over one million dollars to help fight this disease.
