Biscotti, the Italian twice baked cookie is the perfect dessert or snack when watching calories and fat. You can try any variety of your favourite ingredients to make your personal flavoured biscotti. These chocolate pecan flavoured are my all time favourite.
The contrasting colors and textures of the tomatoes in this salad are what make it so sensational. If you can find grape tomatoes, they are even sweeter than cherry tomatoes and have a great texture. Don’t forget that tomatoes contain lycopene, an antioxidant that helps in the fight against prostate cancer and heart disease.
This salad has nutrition galore and makes a great side salad or buffet dish. Often I’ll add some grilled chicken or fish and make it a main meal. Cut the avocado just before serving, or add some lemon juice to it to prevent discoloration.
