Holiday Brunch

Brunch on the weekends is my favorite meal of the week.  There’s no rush to eating on these days and I love to linger either at home or at a restaurant with my coffee, brunch type fare and friends or family. I don’t look at my watch and it’s truly about enjoying your food and company. I also find that a substantial and healthy brunch keeps my energy up for the afternoon and I’m satisfied right up until dinner.

There are so many foods I love to prepare at home including oatmeal, muesli, home made granola, eggs done a variety of ways and some great tasting muffins or loaves. 

Here are some wonderful brunch items to get you started:

Strawberry Banana and Orange Smoothie

Multigrain French Toast

Carrot, Apple and Cinnamon Loaf

Frittata with Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese

Avocado and Brie Cheese Omelette

Strawberry Wild Blueberry Double Crisp
