Stir-fried edamame with garlic and ginger
Edamame in the shell have been all the rage for a few years. But now you can find them shelled in the freezer section of your supermarket. As an alternative to just steaming them, try this recipe with a delicious Asian sauce.
  • 1 lb frozen shelled edamame
  • 4 tsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp finely chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
  • 1/2 tsp hot chili sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  1. Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil. Add the edamame and boil for 2 minutes. Drain and return to the saucepan.
  2. Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster sauce, garlic, ginger and chili sauce. Sauté for 1 minute. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately.
