Juice Cleanse


Juice cleansing is a huge trend today in dieting and healthy living. Motives are to improve your eating habits, cleanse your body from  toxins and  ultimately weight loss. Doctor’s opinions are that livers and kidneys clean themselves and juicing is only a marketing tactic.

My opinion is that juicing should not be done for longer than 3 days.  Use it to cleanse your taste buds from sugar, fat and sodium, foods we have become addicted to. Juicing allows you to consume more fruits and vegetables and is a great way use extra ripe produce. If juicing for too long you will consume fewer vitamins and minerals than eating the whole foods and you won’t get protein which results in loss of muscle mass. Incorporate juicing into your daily meal plan for ultimate health.
