  • Studies show that a better diet helps with the unwanted symptoms
  • Calcium-rich foods such as lower fat Greek yogurt, milk or cheese may prevent osteoporosis
  • Omega 3 fatty acids including walnuts, fatty fish and oils can cut night sweats by 20%
  • Soy foods such as tofu and edamame contains phytoestrogens that balance hormones and can relieve hot flashes
  • Vitamin B foods help regulate moods and lessen depression.  Include whole grains, beans and leafy green vegetables in your diet.
  • Lessen processed sugar and alcohol which increases mood swings and can affect your sleep
  • Reduce simple carbs such as white flour products – they increase weight and fatigue.
