Dr. William Davis a cardiologist wrote the book “Wheat Belly” and it’s flying off the shelves.
The title is informing us if we consume wheat we’re going to gain weight. Clinical trials have not yet proved this. The theory is that wheat products raise your blood sugar causing you to eat more in a vicious cycle of blood spikes and falls. Dr Davis believes that wheat promotes fat storage especially in the belly and also increases your appetite. Stop eating wheat your blood sugar levels, your appetite drops and you merrily lose weight.
The good thing about the diet is no need to count calories, fat or portions. Just eliminate every trace of wheat. The bad, is no wheat allowed! No bread, pasta, desserts, cereals, sauces or dressing
Tough to do for life. How about just cutting back.
