Butterscotch Bars

INGREDIENTS

¾ cup brown sugar
¼ cup oil
1 tsp vanilla
1 small egg
1 ½ cups flour
2 cups quick cooking oats
½ tsp baking soda
Filling
½ cup condensed milk
1 cup butterscotch morsels
1/3 cup chopped pecans

RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray an 8” x8” square pan with vegetable oil.

2. In bowl add sugar, oil, vanilla and egg until combined. Add flour, oats and soda. Mix well. Pat about 2 cups into pan and pat down, saving remainder for topping

3. Filling: add milk and butterscotch into glass bowl and microwave for 1 minute on high, stir until smooth. Pour over crust. Add remaining crumble over top and bake for 20 minutes. Cut into 12 squares
