You won’t find a better tasting vegetable than fresh corn as summer winds down. But so often we have no clue on how to cook the perfect cob. Start with fresh sweet corn right from the farmers market. Either grill or boil.

To grill the corn, pull back the husks and remove the silky threads.  Fold the husks back over and soak in water for 10 – 15 minutes. Place on a preheated grill over a high heat and turn occasionally for about 5 minutes or just until lightly browned. To boil the corn remove the husks and threads.  Boil a large pot of water and add the corn.  Cover and once the water comes back to a boil, voila your corn is cooked.  Any longer and you’ll have over cooked dry corn.
