Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Loaf

Pumpkin isn’t just for pie! This pumpkin loaf is sure to be a new family favourite.

RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Mix first 6 ingredients together. Add remaining dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Pour into 8” x 5” loaf pan sprayed with vegetable oil and bake at 350F for about 30 – 40 minutes or until tester comes out dry.
2. Melt chocolate with oil for 30 seconds on high. Mix until combined and drizzle over cake.

INGREDIENTS
2 eggs
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup canned pure pumpkin
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup light sour cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/3 cups flour
½ cup whole wheat flour
½ cup mini chocolate chips
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
¼ tsp nutmeg
Garnish (optional)
1oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp oil
