INGREDIENTS
Crust:
2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs
3 tbsp oil
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp water
Filing:
2 tablespoons oil
2 large eggs
1 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (melted)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup pecan halves
1 cup diced dates
RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray a 9” pie pan with vegetable oil
2. Crust – Mix all ingredients in bowl until crumbly, add more water if needed. Pat into pie pan up sides and on the bottom. Bake for 10 minutes.
3. Meanwhile make filling: Mix all ingredients in bowl and pour over crust. Bake for 25 minutes or just until pie is still slightly loose in the middle.
